Determining point of gaze information from data collected with an ASL eye-tracker previously required time consuming frame-by-frame examination of video data.
While the Optotrak Certus system can provide real-time data that allows you track a subject's head position and orientation, there was no practical method for determining the 3D coordinate of the subject's point of gaze - until now!
Long range, high accuracy, real-time eye-head integration is now available from NDI and ASL.
By combining and synchronizing head location and orientation information from the Optotrak Certus with pupil orientation information from the ASL eye-tracker, the 3D coordinate of the subject's point of gaze can now be easily determined in real-time.
Eye-gaze information is stored digitally and can be quickly processed to determine the behaviour of your test subject.
