AUTOsense Touch Trigger Module for Touch Probing

This video features the AUTOsense touch trigger module. Developed for NDI by Renishaw, the AUTOsense module offers hard probe, scanning, and touch trigger capabilities. AUTOsense reduces unnecessary tip deflection errors by automatically taking measurements when the probe stylus contacts the part. During contact surface scanning AUTOsense does not continue measuring when the stylus leaves the work piece, eliminating invalid points. The result is greater convenience, higher measurement throughput, and measurement accuracy superior to standard methods.

ScanTRAK Laser Scanning

This video features the OPTOTRAK PROseries ScanTRAK handheld laser scanning solution being used to reverse engineer a part. The lightweight ScanTRAK laser scanner integrates a Mult-Sided Probe (MSP) that allows operators to freely orient it in all six degrees of freedom (6DOF) without beam break issues or mechanical restrictions, dramatically improving productivity. ScanTRAK is well suited for reverse engineering, part-to-CAD inspection, and inspection without CAD applications.

Part-to-CAD Freeform Measurement

A Portable CMM provides Part-to-CAD computer-aided inspection right on the shop floor. By bringing the machine to the part rather than the part to the machine, problems can be quickly solved at the source.

Operators simply use a handheld digitizing probe, or optional laser scanner, to quickly measure parts while the inspection software automatically compares measured data to corresponding CAD data.
