Aurora Technical Specifications
The characterized measurement volume is the volume within the detection region where accuracy is within specified limits. The detection region is the total volume in which the Field Generator can detect a sensor, regardless of accuracy.
The Aurora offers two characterized measurement volumes: the Cube Volume and the Dome Volume. The Dome Volume is 3 cubic times the size of the Cube Volume with both volumes offering the same high level of accuracy.
All Aurora Systems are equipped with the Cube Volume. The Dome Volume can be purchased as an additional option. If you choose the Dome Volume option you will be able to switch between Dome and Cube volumes as required. A comparison of the shapes and dimensions of these volumes is shown below.
Dome and Cube Volumes
Cube: 500 mm x 500 mm x 500 mm
Dome: R1=660 mm, R2=480 mm

Cube entirely contained within Dome. All dimensions are approximate.
