11.5 mm diameter spherical retro-reflective markers designed for single use. Snap-on connection to NDI passive marker mounting post. Non-sterile spheres can be purchased from NDI. Designed for use with the Polaris® and the Polaris® Spectra Systems, the Radix Lens has a smooth plastic surface that naturally sheds liquid and is easy to wipe clean to recover tracking. The Radix Lens also has the unique characteristic of being inherently resistant to partial occlusions, further enhancing its robust performance characteristics. NDI's Accuracy Assessment Kit will help users determine if the Polaris Spectra or Polaris Vicra Position Sensor should be returned to NDI for re-characterization. This kit can be
used in the field and the procedure takes less than 15 minutes.

Both the Polaris Spectra and the Polaris Vicra systems produce measurement and location data based on tool design and marker placement. Development tools are offered for both systems as part of a tool kit or as individual tools.
