The MultiTRAK option for the PRO CMM system creates a unified measurement volume for large parts and assemblies. By measuring within a single coordinate system, operators can scan and probe seamlessly around a large part. MultiTRAK improves measurement work flow and efficiency by eliminating the need to move the Optical Tracker and ensuring full coverage of the part. A MultiTRAK cell uses fix mounted or portable Optical Trackers to create the optimal measurement volume for your application. The portable option uses the power of Dynamic Part Referencing (DPR), a standard feature of the PRO CMM system. DPR creates and maintains a common coordinate system between Optical Trackers, providing operators with continual measurement, even during movement. The fix mounted option supports cells where the parts being inspected must have a consistent orientation within the measurement volume.
